A complete review of their entire wide-body fleet; spurred on by the need to retrofit ~35 newly acquired 747-400s, 777-200s & 300s, and 767-300s.
Project requirements:
- LOPA review and analysis
- Seat vendor identification, vetting & selection (RFP); evaluation of (4) seat providers
- Review of all IFE systems/offerings in the airline marketplace (ranging from overhead, to in-seat distributed, and audio/video on-demand); evaluation & final IFE recommendation
Project undertakings:
- Competitive analysis and customer research (IFE & seats)
- Financial (cost-based) analyses
- Maintenence (timelines) evaluation – concurrence to vendor delivery schedules
Project outcomes:
- 4 cabin plan (First | Business | Prem Y | Econ Y)
- Selection of in-seat audio & video provider – Lumexis
- Seat vendor recommendation (approval given shortly after project completion)
